Reno Rodeo Contact: Steve Schroeder (775) 825-2665 For Immediate Release Reno Rodeo Championship Finals Performance Sold Out The Reno Rodeo Championship Finals Performance will be televised LIVE tonight on KOLO TV 8 (ABC) at 7 PM. (Reno, NV) Tickets for the Saturday night Wrangler Tour Championship Finals of the Reno Rodeo are sold out. As of 10 AM this morning there were less than 500 tickets available. Ticket sales went fast and as of 1 PM today tickets were sold out. Tickets are still available for admission to the Livestock Events Center and the public is welcome to shop among over 100 cowboy country shops and vendors and enjoy rides at the carnival. Unlimited ride wristbands are available for $22. The Reno Rodeo Championship Finals is the last performance of the 9 nights of the Reno Rodeo. Tonight 12 cowboys in each event, Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Tie-down Roping and Bull Riding and 12 cowgirls in Barrel Racing all compete for the title of Reno Rodeo Champion and receive the coveted Silver Spurs award along with thousands of dollars in prize money. The Reno Rodeo TV news partner KOLO TV 8 and Wade Barnett with Rough Stock Television have been providing broadcast quality coverage of the Reno Rodeo all week producing video for the jumbotron screens in the rodeo arena. As part of that partnership KOLO TV 8 will produce the live televised broadcast of the Reno Rodeo starting at 7 PM. Broadcast hosts are Terri Russell and Dr. Greg “Lightning” Williams, program directed by Bob Page.
