Businessman Steer Decorating PDF Print E-mail

Back by popular demand! A fan favorite!

It's a serious switch from an office environment to tying ribbons on the tail of a steer in the rodeo arena in front of 10,000 fans....

Watch 10 different teams compete every night of the rodeo.

There are two contestants (not always men), a holder and a tier, and one judge per team every night of the rodeo.  That's 10 steers, 10 holders, 10 tiers, 10 team judges and a few other folks.  That's at least 40 total people and steers moving independently inside the arena. Many work hard and fast trying to be winners. Others get embarrassed, flee from the steer, and try to get the hell out of there.

Deadline for applications is May 24, 2008.

The businessmen and women who compete in Steer Decorating at the Reno Rodeo ignore their suits, don a big hat and fight for the right to compete at Reno's Finals on Saturday.  There are accountants, lawyers, casino people, salesmen, retailers and more.  Each team is sponsored by a local business. The event is fast, funny, filthy and fantastic.
