Since 1986 the Reno Rodeo Foundation has donated over $5.1 million to local children’s charities. The Foundation has been committed to enhancing and enriching the lives of northern Nevada families by aiding children with extraordinary needs, building community partnerships, and providing scholarships to the University of Nevada, Reno. The Reno Rodeo Foundation has garnered donations through contributions from the annual all-volunteer Reno Rodeo and the Reno Rodeo Invitational Team Roping event; sales of the Nevada “Rodeo State” license plate; Rhythm and Rawhide, a fundraising event produced in conjunction with the Reno Philharmonic Association; grants and donations from foundations, organizations, individuals and corporations. |
